Curriculum Outline

Pre-Bootcamp Setup — Register & Prepare
  • Register and join the Discord community
  • Set up AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts
  • Install Git, VS Code, Node.js, and CLIs
  • Verify CLI access across all clouds
  • Configure your cloud dev environment
  • Review the syllabus and badge criteria
Week 1 — Frontend Foundations & Multi-Cloud Setup
  • Create Project Repo and initialize resume (HTML)
  • Refactor markup for clean, semantic structure
  • Static web server setup and basic styling (CSS/Images)
  • Implement React (Vite + React Router) for dynamic pages
  • Refactor resume data into reusable React components
  • Mobile optimization and responsive design
  • Add Projects & Blog (Markdown + code highlighting)
  • Register domain (Namecheap → Route 53)
  • Deploy static website on AWS S3 with CloudFront + ACM (SSL)
  • Automate setup using CloudFormation or Ansible
  • Fix redirect issues, test cache invalidations, verify HTTPS
Week 2 — Serverless, Cross-Cloud, and Final Launch
  • Azure: Configure Storage (Bicep + Ansible), Front Door, and redirects
  • Cloudflare: purge + proxy setup for global SSL and CDN caching
  • GCP: new project, Terraform + GCS bucket deployment with custom domain
  • Migrate Terraform state to Terraform Cloud
  • Implement serverless APIs for view counters:
    • AWS: Lambda + API Gateway + DynamoDB
    • Azure: Functions + Cosmos DB
    • GCP: Cloud Function v2 + Firestore + API Gateway
  • Integrate APIs into frontend and test connectivity
  • Troubleshoot permissions, DNS, SSL, and redirects

You’ll follow step-by-step labs, attend live sessions (or watch recordings), and submit your completed project for grading and a badge.
What will I build?
A personal resume website with your own domain, serverless backend API, global CDN, and automated Infrastructure as Code.
How much does it cost?
To participate and receive official grading for your Cloud Resume Challenge submission, you must register for a paid entry:
$50 USD for grading on one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
$60 USD for grading on two cloud providers
$70 USD for grading on all three cloud providers
